Family Visit

This weekend my mom, brother, and Gerrard came for a visit. We didn't really do much but it was nice having family here. On Saturday we ate at this shabu shabu place in K-town and it was Delish! Did some shopping and the boys went shooting.. nice relaxing weekend.. but HOT!!!

Happy Birthday Brian

It was Brian's Birthday today and he had a BBQ at his house. My brother, mom, and Gerrard were in town this weekend from Seattle so my mom watched Alyssa while we went to the BBQ. It was nice to leave the house without the baby. =)

Welcome Baby Rylan!!

Congratulations Tommy and Deanna. He's so adorable. A little hairy but so cute.. =) Man I forgot how far Loma Linda was. Especially from Porter Ranch. Alyssa did really well in the car.. but on the way back she was a little fussy and I was trying my hardest to stay awake.. Didn't notice how tired I was. (Paul had to go to North Carolina for work for a few days)

Earth Day

Today was Earth Day.... I was never really much of a GREEN person, actually I'm still not. I really should work on that. Well this morning while watching the news I saw that the Grove was throwing something for Earth Day so I decided to call up Esther and see if she wanted to go to it. If it ends up being boring we can just shop.

Well this was the only thing going on at the GROVE... BOring, so we just ended up eating at the Farmer's Markets and just walked around.

Aren't these the cutest onesies?? They were 25 bucks each... a little too much for my wallet, but I did get a good laugh. =)

I asked Paul to go out and buy a tub for Alyssa. He came back with this whale tub. I asked him what this whale cut-out thingy was for. His response was, it's a sponge for Alyssa when you give her a bath. I just started laughing.. Are you serious.. this big thing is a sponge?? You got to be kidding me.. He said the box said it was for a sponge bath.. I could not stop laughing.. did he really think it was an actual sponge to use to wash Alyssa?? haha!! I had to explain to him that that sponge bath probably means that we place her on the whale while giving her a sponge bath the first few weeks after she's born.. We both had a good laugh.. =)

Finally... a tub

Okay.. so I didn't use the actual tub.. but the thing that comes with the tub is pretty cool. I found that it works best in the sink. She just sits on it while I give her a bath. She loves it.. =)

What a Life!!

Look at her thighs.... they got so big. I think she's around 10lbs now.. she pretty much doubled her weight from birth.. (is this normal.. or are we feeding her too much)

So tired....

Thats me using one of the carriers I bought at the Baby Celebration.. =)She decided she was a little hot...so she kicked herself out of the swaddle me.. =)What a life...

I placed her on her tummy for the first time. I was a little scared but she actually did okay. She even turned her head to the other side on her own. I think she sleeps better this way.

When she sleeps this way I don't need to swaddle her, and now that it's soo hot in our room it works out for the better.

She's growing up so quickly.
